Box 511 FSGEIS Lake George, NY 12845 DATE:5/10/04 RESOLVED: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL SUPPLEMENTAL GENERIC ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AS COMPLETE INTRODUCED BY: Chris Hunsinger WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Larry Ringer WHEREAS, the public comment period for the Supplemental Draft Generic Environmental Statement ("SDGEIS"), which was prepared by Great Escape Theme Park LLC ("Great Escape") and deemed complete by the Planning Board on February 1o, 2004, came to a close on April 8, 2004 following a 59-day public comment period that included two public hearings held by the Planning Board on March 2, 2004 and March 25, 2004 and one public hearing overseen by the Town of Queensbury Zoning Board of Appeals, an involved agency, on April 6, 2004. WHEREAS, Great Escape submitted a proposed Final Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement ("FSGEIS") to members of the Planning Board on or about April 30, 2004 for their review. A Good Place to Live " TOWN OF Q UEE.NSB URY 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY. 12804-5902 WHEREAS, earlier drafts of the FSGEIS had been reviewed by the Board's consultants, Chazen Engineering & Land Surveying Co., P.C. ("Chazen") and revised in accordance with Chazen's preliminary comments. WHEREAS, the Town Planning Staff and Chazen have recommended that the Planning Board accept the FSGEIS as complete for distribution to the other involved agencies for their review. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby accepts the FSGEIS for the Great Escape as complete in accordance with the draft resolution prepared by Staff with the following changes: 1. Page VI, on the right hand column at the end of the bottom paragraph, change the work"can"to "should" cause, and 2. The language from Response No. 3708 be moved into Executive Summary Section 5E6, and 3. On Page 3-75, the reference to a perc test is actually a performance evaluation review and technique test,which is basically a construction schedule. RESOLVED, the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby requests that the FSGEIS be distributed to all involved agencies for their review in accordance with SEQR.
