cern Senior Citizen activities and requested that more be done in
this area in the future.
The Director also passed out new Recreation Commission Oath

The possibility of Sled Dog Races as explained in the Director's
Report was discussed. The concensus of those present was that this
type of spectator event was better suited to the Lake George Winter
Carnival or Warren County rather than the Town of Queensbury.
The Commission was also concerned over the legality of such a
(Prize Money), the location and the problem of crowd control.
Commission instructed the Director to contact Mr. Canavan and
him that the Recreation Department was not in the business of
ducting this type of spectator activity.
