"MOBILE HOME PARKS" AND REPLACING IT WITH A NEW CHAPTER
113 ENTITLED, "MANUFACTURED HOME PARKS"

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to consider adoption of Local Law No.:
of 2022 to repeal current Queensbury Town Code Chapter 113 entitled, "Mobile Home Parks," and
replace it with a new Chapter 113 entitled "Manufactured Home Parks," to provide safeguards and
protection for the safety, health and welfare of the occupants of manufactured homes and to
regulate certain uses of motor homes and/or campers within the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, this legislation is authorized in accordance with New York State Town Law
§130, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to set a public hearing concerning adoption of this Local
Law,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board shall hold a Public Hearing on Monday,
March 7th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. to consider proposed Local Law No.: of 2022 and to hear all
interested persons, and at that time may take any other actions authorized by law concerning
proposed Local Law No.: of 2022, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish and post
legal notice of the Public Hearing on proposed Local Law No.: of 2022 in the manner
provided by law, and shall make a copy of the proposed Local Law available for public inspection
in the Town Clerk's office following the adoption of this Resolution and until the Public Hearing
is closed.
