SEPTIC CERTIFICATION LETTER900 Route 146 Clifton Park, NY 12065 (P) 518.371.7621 (F) 518.371.9540 edpllp.com March 25, 2022 Town of Queensbury Planning/Zoning Dept. 742 Bay Road Queensbury, NY 12804 Attn: Craig Brown Re: Existing Wastewater System – 67 Brayton Lane Dear Mr. Brown: At the request of Eric Carlson, owner of property located at 67 Brayton Lane., I have been asked to provide a Septic System Certification as per the requirements of Zoning Ordinance - Chapter 179-3- 040A (5)(e). Based on the review of the files and existing site conditions I offer the following. · On April 23, 2019 the Town of Queensbury Building Department issued a Septic Disposal System Permit based on wastewater design plans prepared by Environmental Design Partnership. I was the design engineer who prepared the plans. · On May 23, 2019 The Environmental Design Partnership submitted a certified as-built septic map of the installed septic system to The Town of Queensbury. This as-built mapping was intended to represent the installation of the septic system in accordance with the design intent. The As-built was review and accepted by the Town on May 28, 2019 · The system has been in operation for almost 3 years serving the Carlson’s seasonal residence. The Environmental Design Partnership has been to the project site and not seen any signs of operational problems related to the septic system. · The Existing system was designed for a 4 bedroom count design flow and because the proposed bedroom count is not increasing the existing septic system is adequate for the proposed site improvements. In compliance with Section 179-3-040A (5)(e) I provide this written certification that the operating system is in compliance with adopted standards and requirements based on the Town’s approvals and issuance of a building permit. The wastewater system was constructed as approved. In addition, the operating condition of the system appears to be providing satisfactory service to the residence. It is my understanding that Mr. Carlson will soon be submitting an application for Site Plan Review.
