Dear Planning Board Members:
This letter is to follow up on a conversation with Laura Moore, Town of Queensbury, about
drawing modifications submitted on Tuesday May 15, 2001 by North Country Engineering, P.C.
per the owner's request. Three (3) lighting poles, poles with type `A2'. fixtures, were modified
due to pole base changes: This modification will raise the height of the fixtures from 20'-0"
above finished grade to 21'-0" above finished grade. Another lighting pole, pole with (2) type
`Al' fixtures, previously located in the existing island has been moved to approximately 5'-0"
northeast of the island. These modifications made to the approved drawings do not significantly
affect lighting levels and the ATM security lighting regulations remain satisfied.
After reviewing the revised original drawings, the Town of Queensbury has approved the
modifications and does not require North Country Engineering to present the revised drawings to
the Planning Board. If there are any other questions or if we can be of any further assistance,
please contact us.

North.Country Engineer submitted a revised lighting plan on May 15, 2001. I
confirmed with Craig Brown that the change in height from 20 feet poles to
21 feet poles and a-moveof an island light was not,a significant change.
Therefore, the change in pole height and change of one pole location does
not need further Planning Board Review.
The applicant has submitted a letter (May 17, 2001).with the revised drawing
describing the lighting adjustments. The letter indicates the lighting levels will
not be affected significantly and the ATM security lighting regulations remain
satisfied.
