On the structural plans,replace or change note where CDX Plywood is shown,to read CDX Plywood
over 5/8th's exterior gypsum or some other type of noncombustible material
Change size of exit doors to 44 inch doors. Change door swing from garden area to main dining area
to swing towards main dining area. All exterior exit doors must have panic hardware. All non-
latching doors are not required to have panic hardware.
Note on the plans that all glass will be safety glass or tempered glass,as required by the Code.
In the kitchen, the interior one hour fire separation must be continued across the cooler. Provide a
cross section showing the detail of the one hour wall for the kitchen. A sprinkler head must be added
inside the cooler and in the kitchen area to protect the door going into the cooler. The doors in the
kitchen from the dining areas must be a three quarter hour fire rated and be on magnetic hold backs,
not flushable links.
We need a detail on the hood system showing the design of the hood and the fire extinguishing
system.
We need a complete sprinkler system layout to be reviewed by the Fire Marshal.
