1.02 1.2 RESCIND\540 of 1988—Tape Recordings—7-2-12 RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.: 540, 1988 CONCERNING PRESERVATION OF TAPE RECORDINGS RESOLUTION NO.: ,2012 INTRODUCED BY: WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 540,1988, the Queensbury Town Board authorized a policy with respect to the length of time that tapes of recordings of public meetings and hearings will be retained, and WHEREAS, the Town Clerk has advised the Town Board that all public meetings and hearings are now recorded and retained digitally, and therefore, Resolution No. 540, 1988 is obsolete and should be rescinded, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby rescinds Resolution No.: 540,1988, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and/or Town Clerk to take any steps necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
