Bid Security, Non Collusion Certificate and Corp. Resolution were included in all
bids received.
Mr. Paul Cushing, Architect- (ltr.) We have reviewed the bids received this date
for General Construction Work and Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning Work
for Renovations for Town Court. As the low bidders for each contract are all in
order, we recommend an award to F.Fisk Construction, Inc. in the sum of Twenty
Eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($28,500.00) for General Construction Work;
similarly, we recommend an award to Latham Heating and Air Conditioning Corp.
in the sum of Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($13,400.00) for Heating,
Ventilating & Air Conditioning Work.
Councilman Eisenhart- What does this add up to?
Mr. Paul Cushing- $53,825.00
Deputy Supervisor, Olson- Is that for the completed project?
Mr. Cushing- No, one of the items that we took out of the General Construction
Work was the floor covering. The preliminary costs for that portion will be around
$3400.00.
Deputy Supervisor Olson- These bids are more in line with what the estimates were...
Councilman Monahan- I will abstain from the vote because Fisk Construction does
business with our firm...
