Re: LV2022-0073
Town Variance: AV36-2022
Variance Application: Randles
Tax Map Number: 239.12-2-11
Dear Mike McCabe:
Adirondack Park Agency staff review of the above referenced variance determination has been
completed. The applicant proposes to tear down an existing single family dwelling to its foundation
and rebuild with a second story addition, attached garage and screened porch. Relief is required
from the Town side setback, shoreline setback (56± feet required, 54 feet existing, 51 feet proposed)
and for stormwater management devices within 100 feet of the shoreline. Note the property is
located in an area designated Moderate Intensity Use on the Adirondack Park Land Use and
Development Plan Map which requires a 50-foot shoreline setback.
Based on the information presented in the record, no further Agency review is required for this
variance since the project does not vary provisions of the Adirondack Park Agency Act.
Thank you for your referral of this variance determination.
Sincerely,
Robyn Burgess
