The-following is a list of items which need to,be corrected-on the Carter plans submitted to this office for
review.
1. The stockroom shows a one hour enclosure wall and a three-gizarier'hour fire do.or. .However,it does
itot show in.the wall going tight.to the roof'deck or'the,to the,ceiling•above,which creates.a one hour
enclosure around the'stockroom. Please make'necessary.changes:to the plans in order to meet.the
Building Code requirement of one•ho ur enclosure for the stockroom.
2. Additional.emergency:lights need to_be added to the plans to make sure:-that-all aisles are illuminated
as such. It appears:that one.will be added.to the stockroom and one or-two in.the sales floor area
where they are lacking.
3.- The handicapped dressing room,must be provided with grab bars that meet the requirements'of the
i handicapped Bathroom. This means.a 42 inch grab bar must be provided on.the side and a.36 inch
grab-bar on the rear of the walls for the dressing room.
4. There are no.notes on the plans-not drawings that show"a.handicapped accessible.service counter at
the cash refs. Please provide,necessary drawings or notes on the plans accordingly.
