We also received the letter from. Dennis Dickinson in which he approves the use of 10" piping. As we stated in our last review letter, dablud June 29th, we recommended that the storm sewers be larger than the b" diameter as designed. The preferred minimum size is 12" diameter for the simple reason that the smaller piping is more prone to clogging with solids if not maintained. Given the fact that the Contractor is proposing a larger sized piping system than originally planned, a 10" diameter, and that the engineer has approved this size, we would concur with this decision.
