Dear Mr. Hatin:
Our firm represents Leo R. Nolan in connection with the issue raised in your recent letter
concerning 52 Nolan Camp Road, Tax Map No. : 289. 15- 1 -42_
A copy of the deed you referenced as filed on May 20, 2019 is enclosed. The conveyance
is for a one-sixth interest in the property and is for no consideration. The grantor is Leo R. Nolan
and the grantee is Leo R. Nolan, as Trustee of the Leo R. Nolan Separate Property Trust. The
beneficial interest in the ownership of this .:one-sixth interest did not change. The remaining five-
sixth interest owned by other family members was wholly unaffected by this transfer which simply
altered the form in which the title to this minority interest in the parcel was held.
We do not believe this is the type of conveyance contemplated by the recently enacted local
law_
We do not believe this transfer triggered the need for a pre-transfer inspection.
