WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Highway Superintendent has recommended that
the Town Board abolish the existing full-time position of Parts Shop Foreman and establish the
full-time position of Fleet Manager in the Town Highway Department, and
WHEREAS, a job description for the Fleet Manager has been adopted by the Warren County
Department of Personnel and Civil Service and presented at this meeting, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to abolish the position of Parts Shop Foreman and
establish the position of Fleet Manager as recommended,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the abolishment
of the full-time position of Parts Shop Foreman and the establishment of the position of Fleet Manager
in the Town's Highway Department in accordance with the Fleet Manager Job Description adopted
by the Warren County Department of Personnel and Civil Service in substantially the form presented at
this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and/or
Town Budget Officer to complete and file any documentation and take such other and further actions
necessary to effectuate all terms of this Resolution.
