The shed is located on about the only piece of near level ground on the property in a place that allows
the neighbors full enjoyment of their properties. Owing to the wooded and steep slope the shed can't
be seen from the road or the neighbor to the south. The principle structure on the property to the
north is more than 30 feet downhill toward the lakeshore. The proposed shed is viewable from the
principle structure but partially obscured by natural brush etc. The design and proximity to property
boundaries is consistent with sheds and outbuildings on neighboring properties.
I) Stamped Survey — A site plan prepared by Onsite Engineering for a septic system upgrade has
been modified by the owner to show the location of the subject Shed. The location of the shed
was determined as follows. A laser set up at the survey monument on the northeast corner of
the property was trained on the iron pipe set at the northwest corner. A tape measure
indicated 7.2 feet from the laser beam marking the north property boundary. A tape measure
was pulled from the shed to the water's edge. The horizontal distance to the shed 88.2 feet was
determined by correcting the measured distance for the elevation change as indicated on the
engineer's plot plan.
Note: A survey waiver was granted. See attached letter dated 12/21/2022
2) Section1 part [ Parking and Permeable 4reas —We park asmany a Ocars here. There
will be no detrimental changes to the parking or any of the items in this section. However, it
should be noted that with the septic system installation the impervious portions of the driveway
and parking area were removed. Also the addition of a mix of, dust free, no.1 and No.2 stone to
the entire driveway and parking area has eliminated any observable erosion. A curb was added
to the lakeside edge of the driveway creating an infiltration basin. No parking is allowed over
the drain field but this parking location has been discouraged for the last 20 years.
3) Section 179-14-03 C. 5 Green Areas- The entire property is in the "Understory" of very large
mature trees. There are very few landscape features added to the natural stone outcroppings
upland from the parking area. The shed is located between existing trees in an area that had
essentially nothing growing due to the soil condition and lack of light. One sapling was cut.
4) 1 don't believe any Federal, State or County permits are required for this project.
