4.01 4.1 FINANCIAL\2023Turchase End Wall-Salt Storage Building—Hybrid Building Solutions—Calhoun-Highway—Sourcewell—4-3 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF NEW END WALL FROM HYBRID BUILDING SOLUTIONS FOR HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT'S SALT STORAGE BUILDING RESOLUTION NO. , 2023 INTRODUCED BY: WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 82,2016, the Queensbury Town Board authorized establishment of the Highway Garage Capital Project Fund No.: 208 for construction of a new Town Highway Garage (Project) and by Resolution No.: 167,2019 authorized engagement of C.T. Male Associates (C.T. Male)for architectural and engineering services relating to the Project, and WHEREAS, C.T. Male prepared bid documents and specifications for the Project and by Resolution No.: 414,2019 the Town Board authorized award of bids, and WHEREAS, C.T. Male also prepared specifications for the purchase and installation of a Salt Storage Building(Building) as part of the Project, and WHEREAS, the New York State Legislature adopted legislation allowing political subdivisions in New York State to "piggyback" off an existing County/State Bid and the Town "piggybacked" with the cooperative, municipal purchasing program Sourcewell Contracting for the Building as Hybrid Building Solutions (Hybrid) was and still is a participating member of Sourcewell Contracting and so by Resolution No.: 131,2020, the Town Board authorized the purchase and installation of the Building from Hybrid, and WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has advised that it is necessary to purchase a new end wall for the Building from Hybrid, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the purchase and installation of an End Wall for the Highway Department's Salt Storage Building from Hybrid Building Solutions for the amount of $26,766 as set forth in Hybrid's January 20, 2023 letter presented at this meeting to be paid from Capital Construction Account No.: 208-1620-2899, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer to amend the Town Budget, make any adjustments or prepare any documentation necessary to effectuate all terms of this Resolution, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to execute any needed Agreement and/or documentation and the Town Supervisor, Highway Superintendent and/or Budget Officer to take any needed actions to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
