below-ground post support.
Deck and post height :
You selected a height of 27" from the top of decking to
level ground. Therefore, the top of the deck support posts
will be 18.25" above level ground. Your salesperson can
provide information for uneven or sloped ground.
Joists :
Set joists on top of beams, 16" center to center.
Be sure to follow the deck construction detail available from
your store salesperson.
