Dear Chris :
This following items still need to be completed in order for
me to issue the Jones New York building permit .
1 . An inspection with Dave Nice showed that there are metal
straps which help provide structural support for the
building. I will need a detail showing a modification to
the strapping on the drawing, stamped by you or a
licensed engineer.
2 . The grab bars need to be shown on the plans for the
dressing room as well as the bathroom, a 42 inch grab bar
on the side wall and a 36 inch grab bar on the rear wall .
3 . The stock room detail has changed since our last
discussion due to the truss construction above the area
of the stock room. The contractor and I felt that it
would be easier to sheetrock the bottom chord of the
truss with 5/8th' s Type X Sheetrock and a one hour wall,
to the bottom of the trusses along the area of the
stockroom. Therefore I need a detail showing this on the
drawing.
Once I receive the three above items, I should be able to
issue a building permit based on your submission of those items .
