INCLUDING THE TOWN'S PUBLIC OFFICIALS' LIABILITY
INSURANCE COVERAGE FROM NEW YORK MUNICIPAL INSURANCE
RECIPROCAL (NYMIR) EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2023 -JUNE 30, 2024

WHEREAS,the Queensbury Town Board wishes to authorize the Town Budget Officer and
Marshall & Sterling Upstate, Inc., to obtain the Town's insurance coverage, including the Town's
Public Officials' Liability coverage, from the New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal
(NYMIR) effective July 1", 2023 — June 30'', 2024 in accordance with Marshall and Sterling
Upstate, Inc.'s June 26 h, 2023 Proposal,presented at this meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Budget Officer and Marshall & Sterling Upstate, Inc., to obtain the Town's insurance coverages
including the Town's Public Officials' Liability coverage from the New York Municipal Insurance
Reciprocal (NYMIR) effective July 1", 2023— June 30'', 2024 in accordance with Marshall and
Sterling Upstate, Inc.'s June 26 h, 2023 Proposal substantially in the form presented at this meeting,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED,that the Town's Public Officials' Liability Coverage shall constitute the Town
Officials' annual blanket public undertaking, thereby meeting the requirements of New York State
Town Law and Public Officers Law §11(2), and such undertaking shall be filed in the Town Clerk's
Office, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to
execute any and all documentation to effectuate such renewals/insurance coverage and the Town
Supervisor and/or Town Budget Officer to take any actions necessary to effectuate the terms of this
Resolution.
