STEP 3
REQUIRED EXITS Using the Occupant Load(Step 2)for each tent,determine the total number of exits and minimum required
width for each exit.Please note:The key difference between a tent and a membrane structure for exiting purposes is that a
membrane structure utilizes traditional doors and door frames versus a simple opening or removal of a tent side wall panel.

Dear Ms. Feathers:
Please consider this letter as our landlord authorization for your Family Footwear store
on Rt. 9 in Lake George to hold a tent sale the month August 2023 and August 2024.
If anyone other than yourself or your employees will be erecting the tent please call me to
discuss proper certificates of insurance before any work is performed.
You will also be'responsible for any damages that may occur to the parking lot as a result
of erecting the tent.
