Dear George:
In reference to our conversation on December 5th regarding the structural
elements for your storage shed/garage, as I stated to you then, the two by twelves,
at two foot on center exceed the maximum span requirements for two by twelves on
a flat roof.
As I stated to you on December 5th, you must provide a way to reduce the span of
the two by twelves, therefore reducing the stress placed on them, otherwise the
structure will be considered noncompliant, and if the situation is not corrected, then
I will seek a court summons to have it removed.
