Rhianna Hogan-Cerro meeting 06/16/2023 06/20/2023
Applicant proposes to remove an L-shaped dock of 150 sq ft to replace with a straight dock also 150 sq ft.
The dock is to be 5 ft by 30 ft. A portion of the dock is on land of 24 sq ft and on 15 sq ft is proposed as
part of the new dock to be on land. The dock proposed is in a similar location. There are no other changes
to the site or home. The existing home of 1,809 sq ft is to remain. Area variance for a new dock where 14
ft on the north side is proposed and 25 ft is proposed on the south side where a 20 ft setback is required.
Items reviewed: area variance application, survey drawing
Items to be updated or provided
1) deed
2) confirm footprint of house since the addition was not built
3) confirm floor area of house since the addition was not built
4) checklist - include a note on the survey that edits were done to show the proposed dock configuration,
also include the survey waiver letter as the existing edited survey was not updated by a surveyor however
none of the setbacks to the home have changed and the dock is in a similar location with a slight different
configuration, application materials for the variance should include the dock details, also we discussed
adding photos of the existing conditions as part of the application materials.
5)Provide a pdf of the updated application materials.
The Yellow Rectangle above shows the dock
we would like to build. It is not as wide, and
is no longer an L Shape, but a straight
5’ wide dock.

My name is Maureen Valenti and I live directly next to the Hogan-Cerro family. I met with Rhianna yesterday and she
informed me of the changes she is seeking to make with regards to the dock and I am in total agreement.
They are very considerate and always confide in me with any changes they are looking to implement. I welcome this
family and hope they are able to enjoy life on Glen Lake as we all do! Please strongly consider this request. Thank you in
advance for your time and energy.
Regards,
Maureen Valenti
