the kitchen is still leaking. Land lord has made attempts to fix but
the problem is still on going. Call the land lord and left a

the ceiling above the kitchen is still leaking. I called David, the
property owner and left a voice message.
Code Enforcement Note False 5/4/23 site visit: met with tenant Melissa Hefner at this address.
Melissa stated that the heat is currently not working. There is a
leaking roof in the kitchen, there is leaking plumbing coming from
the unit above in the bathroom. The drop ceiling in the bathroom is
in disrepair. The plumbing fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen
appear to be leaking. Spoke with the property owner who agreed
that he will make the necessary repairs. Also spoke with a man
named Andrew who is the property manager, he was extremely
combative on the phone and felt that one week was not enough
time to get the heating system repaired. I advised him to keep me
posted on the progress of getting the heat working.
Code Enforcement Note False 6/29/23 spoke to Melissa, she is saying that the leaking plumbing
is still an issue. She stated hat it is now leaking continuously,
called landlord and left a message
Code Enforcement Note False 5/12/23 spoke to tenant, Melissa by phone. She stated that she
believes the roof leak has been repaired although the ceiling has
not been patched at this time. She stated that the heat is still not
operating and the ceiling in the bathroom has not been repaired. I
called the building owner and left a message.

address, property owner has been advised that if repairs of the
leaking ceiling are not made in a timely manner that court
summons will be issued. He has been advised that he has one
week to get the heat working, and repair the leak in the kitchen

kitchen is still leaking and there are sponges screwed to the
subfloor in an attempt to repair the leak. both front and rear door
and swollen and do not close or open properly. there are other
leaks in the bathroom around the tub, I called the property owner
and advised him that his handy man is doing shoddy work and is
a big part of the problem. handy man has been telling him work is
completed and billing him for the work. The property owner stated
that he would bring in a different person to attempt these repairs.
the ORV that was issued was not received by the property owner. I
advised him that if he can take care of the issues mentioned
above that a new ORV will not need to be sent out.

stating that heat is still not working. He's going to check in with his
contractor and call me back with an update.

the building owners handy man made some inadequate repairs
by placing sponges on the back side of the sheet rock in an
attempt to stop the leak from the bathroom above. i contacted the
building owner who stated he would call the handyman and get
back to me. i have still not heard from him.

property owner.
Code Enforcement Note False 7/7/23 spoke with building owner thru text messages, he stated
that someone is going to be on site today to make repairs
Code Enforcement Note False 5/5/23: 1 received another combative phone call from the property
manager yesterday afternoon at around 10 minutes to 4:00.
Andrew seem very upset that the code department is involved with
this matter and made it clear that he will harass the tenant when
he makes contact with her. I have reached out to the property
owner and will advise him that I will no longer communicate with
the angry and aggressive person. I also advised Melissa that she
should not be around this person alone in her apartment. A
contractor is scheduled to repair the heat on Monday.
