Subject: Signs for Tidal Wave Auto Spa
Dear Ms. Richman,
I have reviewed the sign package that was submitted for the Tidal Wave Auto Spa and find that Sign
Variances are needed should you wish to proceed with the current sign proposal.
Specifically,
A – Sign Permit needed, appears to be compliant freestanding sign
B.1 - Sign Permit needed, appears to be compliant wall sign
B.2 – Sign Variance needed for second wall sign
C.1 – Sign Variance needed for additional freestanding sign if the sign is visible from offsite
C.2 - Sign Variance needed for additional freestanding sign if the sign is visible from offsite
D – Sign Variance needed for additional wall sign
E – Sign Variance needed for additional freestanding sign
F – No permits needed for these 7 signs as they appear to be compliant on site directional signs.
G – These “marketing” signs are strictly prohibited by the Town Sign code. The Gate Arm Sign will need
a Sign Variance for an additional freestanding sign.
We can process the two allowable sign permit applications; A and B.1 unless you wish to substitute
other signs as the compliant signs and seek variances for these signs. Please advise.
I hope this information is helpful.
Thank you,
Craig Brown
