representatives from other Boards in the Toumy have been meeting twice a week
for the past month and a haZfi two months, in obder to make the changes that were
I recommended from the first public hearing and also those meetings that they
held. The have entertained representatives from various associations in the Town,
they have had consulting advice from the Warren County Bar Association, there
has been a great deal of input from various segments of the community. These
representatives have put together a document which does reflect some changes
from the original and the comments that people made at the first public hearing
did not fall on deaf dars and have been examined and put together into an ordinance
which I think will be beneficial to the residents of the Town of Queensbury.
These people have worked long and hard on trying to put together the ordinances

Queensbury Town Office Bldg.
Glens Falls, N.Y. 12801
Dear Mrs. Walter:'
Thank you for your suggestion of having the Town ''Boaz?d Zook into
a possible solution to the traffic safety problem we have at the exit
roads out of the campus.
The problem is caused by vehicles being parked on the County right-
of-way on Bay Road in close proximety to these exists.' At Thursddy 's
faculty meeting, the concern for injury which nearly occurred on several
occasions was expressed.
The problem has been a continuing one which I think can be Lessened
by posting no parking signs 400 feet each side of both exits. It, of course,
will require the ;considered judgment of your Bott:,'d in modifying the town
ordinance to include this much needed restriction.
I, very much, appreciate any assistance that can be given;. and because
of the potential for serious injury, I would be equally grateful for whatever
can be done to expedite a solution.
Sincerely yours,
MY
