A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE t April 3 , 1987 M/E # 87-2900 MEMORANDUM 7'O : Stuart Mesinger FROM : Nick Sciartel RE : Drainage Review for the Bard Catheter & Instrument Division , Bay Road , Glens Falls In order to determine the effects of the storm drainage from the roof area of the Bard Catheter proposed addition on the existing storm drainage system along Bay Road , two investigations were performed , i . e. , the capacity of the storm drainage system ( from railroad tracks to Halfway Brook ) was computed based upon the pipe slopes shown on the Bay Road construction plans obtained from the Warren County Department of Public Works and pipe slopes shown in Project Narrative by Frank D . Overland Flow Time Chart Lawn Swale 0020 Based upon the above design criteria , there are two sections of the existing Bay Road storm drainage system ( west side) which indicates its capacity will be either equaled or exceeded by the introduction of runoff .from the proposed addition and/or site improvements , It is our recommendation , based upon the results of the performed computations , that storm runoff retention should be attained on the project site for the volume equal to the runoff difference between the existing and proposed site conditions .
