Please be advised that the nine units recently
renovated at the Mohican Motel are for seasonal use
only . The domestic water supply lines are located on
the rear of two units and in the attic of the remaining
seven units . These units in their present state cannot
be used in the future when freezing conditions exist .

In reference to our conversation of Friday, r.4ay 5, 1989, regarding Energy Cade
Conformance, you will find enclosed a copy of Section 7810.6 of the New York State Energy
Conservation Construction Code.
According to Section D. this office feels that the Mohican Motel MUST conform
to N .Y.S. Energy Code. Therefore, unless the building is brought into compliance with
New York Energy Code we will not be authorized to issue a Certificate of Occupancy.

.Dear Tony,
After discussions with Mr. Hatin, this department is today issuing a Building Permit
for the above referenced work, under the following conditions:
A. During our conversations, we all realize that proposed
work will certainly involve more than $10, 000, and
since the Uniform Code requires stamped plans for any
construction involving an amount over this figure. We
will require that before a Certificate of Occupancy is
issued, this department be supplied with a set of "As
Built" drawings certified by a Licensed Professional
Engineer,
Be That this department conducts all regularly required
inspections.
Co Since the property is for transient occupancy, a Fire
Marshal approval will also be required.
