LEVEL FLOAT SWITCH, FIRMLY MOUNTED TO THE PUMP PIT STRUCTURE.
8.PUMP CONTROL PANEL SHALL BE A ZOELLER SIMPLEX ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL

10.FORCE MAIN PIPING SHALL BE A 1 1/2"Ø SDR 21 PVC PIPE (PRESSURE RATING OF 160 PSI)
WITH GASKETED JOINTS AND FITTINGS. FORCE MAIN PIPING SHALL BE INSTALLED TO
DRAIN BACK FROM THE MOUNDED SOIL SYSTEM TO THE PUMP STATION WITHOUT SAGS
OR HUMPS.
11.BUILDING AND GRAVITY SEWER PIPING SHALL BE SOLVENT WELDED SCH. 40 PVC PIPE.
INSTALL SEWER PIPING AT A UNIFORM SLOPE BETWEEN DESIGNATED LOCATIONS WITH
NO SAGS OR HUMPS. THE MINIMUM SLOPE FOR ALL SEWER PIPING SHALL BE 1/4"/FT.
(2%) UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.
12.DISTRUBUTION LATERALS SHALL BE 1 1/2"Ø SDR 21 PVC PIPE WITH (12) 1/4" ORFICES
SPACED 4'-0" O.C. DISTRIBUTION LATERALS SHALL BE INSTALLED LEVEL.
13.REMOVE ALL TOPSOIL, STUMPS, AND ORGANIC MATERIAL FROM THE DISPOSAL SYSTEM
AREA. AFTER EXCAVATING THE BASAL AREA TO THE LIMITS AND DEPTHS INDICATED,
THE WALLS AND FLOORS OF THE BASAL AREA SHALL BE CLEANED AND RAKED TO
ACHIEVE AN EVEN SECTION AND TO LOOSEN SMEARED AREAS.
14.NO HEAVY EQUIPMENT OR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC SHALL BE ALLOWED WITHIN THE LIMITS
OF THE DISPOSAL FIELD AFTER FILL MATERIAL HAS BEEN PLACED BOTH DURING OR
AFTER CONSTRUCTION.
15.PLACEMENT OF THE SAND FILL SHALL BE AS SHOWN AND CARE SHALL BE TAKEN TO
AVOID INCLUSION OF FINE GRAINED SOIL AND WASTE MATERIAL IN THE SAND. THE FILL

THE FINAL PERCOLATION RATE SHALL BE VERIFIED BY THE ENGINEER PRIOR TO
INSTALLATION OF THE ABSORPTION FIELD.
18.THE ABSORPTION BED AGGREGATE SHALL CONSIST OF 3/4"-1 1/2" WASHED GRAVEL OF
CRUSHED STONE.
19.THE BOTTOM OF THE ABSORPTION BED SHALL BE LEVEL. THE ABSORPTION BED
AGGREGATE SHALL BE COVERED BY A PERMEABLE NON-WOVEN GEOTEXTILE FABRIC.THE
GEOTEXTILE FABRIC SHALL BE COVERED WITH PERMEABLE SOIL BACKFILL.
15.TOPSOIL AND SEED THE MOUND AREA AND ALL OTHER DISTURBED AREAS IMMEDIATELY
AFTER CONSTRUCTION.
16.THE EXISTING SEPTIC TANK, SEEPAGE PIT, AND SEWER LINE SHALL BE PUMPED AND
CLEANED TO REMOVE ALL EXISTING WASTEWATER MATERIALS. THE EXISTING SEPTIC
TANK, SEEPAGE PIT, AND SEPTIC LINE SHALL BE REMOVED AND DISPOSED OFF AT A
NYSDEC CERTIFIED SOLID WASTE HANDLING FACILITY.
17.SUBMITTALS: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR REVIEW BY
THE ENGINEER. SUBMITTALS SHALL BE TRANSMITTED ELECTRONICALLY. NO
FABRICATION OF THESE ITEMS SHALL BE PERMITTED UNTIL THE SUBMITTALS HAVE
BEEN REVIEWED AND ACCEPTED:

B.TO INSPECT MOUND SITE PREPARATION PRIOR TO PLACING FILL MATERIAL.
C.TO PERFORM PERCOLATION TEST ON THE FILL MATERIAL DURING

AS THE PUMP TANK.
21.CONTRACTOR TO FIELD VERIFY THE LOCATION OF THE EXISTING WASTEWATER
TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR LOT 227.17-1-24 AND NOTIFY ENGINEER PRIOR TO THE
