Dear Mr. & Mrs. Hunter:
This letter is to inform you that your Building Permit #88-541 has expired
and we have not issued a Certificate of Occupancy for this permit.
We have made contact in the past to resolve this issue, but you have failed
to contact us to close out this permit.
This letter is to advise you that Town Law that requires before a building
or structure he occupied that a Certificate of Occupancy be issued. If you
are in fact using this structure, then you are in violation of Town Law and
could be cited so under a court summons. This office is trying to avoid legal
action in order to resolve this permit. It does appear that all we need to
do is make a final inspection and have a final electrical inspection done by
the electrical inspector and we can close out this permit.
We are asking for your cooperation once again in order to close out this
permit in the near future. Therefore I am requesting that within the next
thirty (30) days you contact this office so we may close out this permit,
otherwise this office will be forced to take legal action in order to do so.
Once again I hope we can avoid legal action and you will cooperate with
this Department to bring this permit to a close. Your anticipated cooperation
is greatly appreciated.
