ADDENDUM #3
TO THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR
GLENS FALLS NATIONAL BANK QUEENSBURY RENOVATION
The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made part of the construction
documents of the above project, fully and completely, as if contained in the documents. All other
conditions of the original Invitation to Bid and bid set remain unchanged.
This Addendum must be acknowledged on the Bid Form.
The Bid submittal date and time are not changed by this Addendum.
Addendum Items
1. Paving: NYSDOT 404.098201 top course and binder course have been changed to Type 6
Top Couse and Type 3 Binder Course. Refer to the attached Sketch B-SK-03.
2. Question: Which is window type 3? It appears to be too long for a single manual shade.
Answer: Type 3 window shade is at the existing drive-through window. This shade can be
divided into two units.
3. Question: Specification section 08 14 16 Wood Doors calls for plain sliced cherry wood doors.
The door schedule calls for birch.
Answer: The wood doors shall be plain sliced cherry per specification section 08 14 16. See
revised door schedule on A-600.
4. Question: Drawing E001: Proposed One-Line Diagram, Conduit to Utility Pole is indicated as
(2) SETS OF (3) 350MCM + #1G IN 4". The electric service is a 3Ø, 4W service. Should the
conduit to the utility pole read (2) SETS OF (4) 350MCM + #1G IN 4"?
Answer: On drawing E001, revise the note to say: (2) SETS OF (4) 350MCM IN 4”. No ground
wire is required for this new service run.
5. Drawing M102: There are ducts on the second floor indicated as oval duct. Revise these to
be rectangular ducts, in the dimensions indicated. See attached drawing.

GENERAL NOTES
1.FIELD VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO INITIATING WORK FOR THIS PROJECT,
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED FROM EXISTING DRAWINGS AND
FIELD INVESTIGATION. NOTIFY THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE OF INCONSISTENCIES
IDENTIFIED BETWEEN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND FIELD CONDITIONS THAT
IMPACT THE ABILITY TO PERFORM THE WORK INDICATED ON THE CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS.
2.PERFORM CUTTING AND PATCHING REQUIRED FOR THE WORK, UNLESS OTHERWISE
NOTED. PATCHING SHALL MATCH SURROUNDING EXISTING SURFACES IN KIND.
PROVIDE FIRE STOPPING FOR PENETRATIONS THROUGH INTERIOR WALLS.
3.COORDINATE UTILITY SHUT DOWNS WITH DIRECTOR'S REPRESENTATIVE.
4.PIPING TEES IN THE BULLNOSE POSITION WILL NOT BE APPROVED, UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED ON THE DRAWINGS TO PIPE IN THIS METHOD. THIS NOTE
APPLIES TO ALL PIPING SYSTEMS.
5.PROVIDE INTERNALLY LINED 90 DEGREE MITERED ELBOW ON THE PLENUM SIDE OF
PLENUM RETURN GRILLES.
6.RISE DUCTWORK UP INTO THE STRUCTURAL BEAM POCKETS WHERE DUCTS
INTERSECT AS NECESSARY TO INSTALL DUCTWORK WITH ENOUGH CEILING
CLEARANCE FOR LIGHTING AND OTHER CEILING MOUNTED EQUIPMENT.
7.INSTALL HORIZONTAL WATER SOURCE HEAT PUMPS TO ALLOW FOR THE
MANUFACTURER'S REQUIRED MAINTENANCE CLEARANCES AND SUCH THAT THE
FILTERS CAN BE REPLACED.
8.ALL DUCTWORK SHALL BE RIGID METAL DUCTWORK. MAXIMUM 5'-0" FLEXIBLE DUCT
CONNECTIONS TO GRILLES/REGISTERS'DIFFUSERS SHALL BE ACCEPTABLE.
9.1" INTERNALLY LINE THE FIRST 10'-0" OF SUPPLY DUCTWORK OFF OF THE SUPPLY
CONNECTION TO THE WATER SOURCE HEAT PUMP. PROVIDE 1" INTERNALLY LINED 90
DEGREE UPTURNED MITERED ELBOW ON THE RETURN CONNECTION TO EACH WSHP.
10 PROVIDE DUCT ACCESS DOORS ADJACENT TO FIRE DAMPERS FOR INSPECTION AND
TESTING.
11 REFER TO PIPING PLANS FOR THERMOSTAT LOCATIONS.
12 REFER TO DRAWING M801 FOR CONTROL DIAGRAMS.
