4/11/24 final inspection for mixed use building not approved, please
address the items listed below and call for recheck when ready.
- submit a letter of substantial completion from both the architect and
structural engineer stating that the project was completed in accordance
with the approved plans and specifications
-each door at the rental apartments should be self closing and latch
-verify hot water is operational
-submit blower door test results for each apartment type and for the
commercial space at first floor
-all exposed steel at first floor ceilings will need to covered with 2 layers
of 5/8 fire code Sheetrock.
-complete Sheetrock at convenience store bathroom ceiling/ plumbing
chase as discussed on site.
-a second layer of 5/8 Sheetrock is required at the first floor front soffit,
- complete fire caulking at first floor ceilings
- a double layer of 5/8 Sheetrock is required or the bottom side of both
stair ways.
- a final inspection and sign off from zoning department will be required.
-complete Fire Marshals items

please address the items listed below
-complete fire caulking at all penetrations at the ceilings at first floor
rental spaces and common areas for apartment tenants. install rock wool
at the top plates of the unsheetrocked walls in the rental space at the
east end of the building.
install fire caulking at the mechanical closet in the gym area duct work
and ceiling penetrations
-complete fire tape at rental space east end of building.
- complete hook up of washers and dryers.
-room 309, mini split is not working
- room 210 bathroom room door does not close properly.
-install permanent hand rails at each stair that extend past the top and
bottom step 12” as discussed on site.
- handicapped sinage should be installed at 60” to bottom of the sign.
- complete Fire Marshal’s items
- complete Zoning Department items.
- submit electronic as built drawings
