Re: Notice of Violation — Order to Remedy for Violation of SP 29-1997 at 251 Quaker Road

Dear Lowes Home Centers, Inc.:
This letter serves as a "Notice of Violation — Order to Remedy" for the apparent violation of
SP 29-1997 at the 251 Quaker Road property. Specifically, during a recent site investigation, I
discovered that there has been an increase in use of parking lot space for storage of items on
pallets as well as for the sale of larger items (i.e., trailers, lawn mowers, and bags of soil, etc.). I
also observed that many of the plantings on the property have died.
The change in use of the parking areas requires a Site Plan Modification from the Town Planning
Board. We will also be looking for a replanting schedule for the plantings in the parking lot.
Please work to address these deficiencies at your earliest convenience. Please note our monthly
submittal deadline falls on the 151h of the month in order to be considered for the following
months agenda cycle. We anticipate that a May 2024 submittal for a June 2024 meeting is a
reasonable goal.
Please refrain from using the parking areas for anything other than parking cars until you have
obtained the necessary approvals from the Town.
