- SCOPE OF WORK -
20, x 20' ADDITION
1) Excavation, back fill and rough grade.
2) Foundation includes: 10" by 16" concrete footings with two rows of
z," re-bar, 0" poured concrete walls keyed into footing, two 12" by
32" basement windows, 2" by 4" pressure treated mud sill, one coat
el foundation sealer, perimeter drain and stone, 4" concrete base-
ment floor, cutting an opening of 4'x6'x8" in existing foundation.
3) 2" by 6" treated plate with sill seal.
4) 0" by 10" center beam with two lolly columns.
5) 2" by 10" floor joist system, 16" on center with spur tooth cross
bridgi
ng.
6) 3/4" underlayment, glued and nailed.
7) 2" by 6" exterior walls, 16'' on center.
8) 2" by 12" window and door way headers.
9) �" CDX exterior wall sheathing.
10) 2" by 4" exterior chimney chase, 16'' on center for double flue con-
figuration.
11) 2" by 4" interior walls, 16" on center.
12) 2" by 8" rafters 16" on center.
13) 2" by 8" ceiling overlays 16" on center.
1.4) 2"' by 6" sub-fachia and 2" by 6" flush rake.
15) 5/8" CDX roof sheathing.
16) Drip edge with 151b. roofers felt and 20 year asphalt shingles.
17) One casement insulated picture window unit with rough openings to
be specified.
18) One slide-by insulated window unit ,with rough openings of 3' 3/4" x
3' 1/4".
19) Window units from existing walls shall be removed and salvaged for
newly proposed master bedtoom.
20) Vent-a-ridge roof cap with continuous soffit venting.
21) 1" pine fachia with rough text plywood soffit.
22) 5/4" by 4" corner boards and window trim.
23) Vertical V-Groove siding and imitation shake shingles where needed.
24) Newly proposed family room floor`-shall be 14" below exising floor.
25) Stairs shall have 2 steps 410" wide (carpet grade).
26) Two closets shall be constructed in new master bath using 2 by 4's
16" on center.
27) A 2" by 4" wall :shall be constructed at the height of manufacturer's
instruction for support: of garden tub.
28) Contractor to demolish and install new interior 2" by 4" partitions
and garden tub support where required.
29) Contractor will be required to complete all work in accordance with
Queensbury building codes.
OPTION 1: Contractor to quote vinyl siding as opposed to vertical
V-groove siding.
