Due to the extensive changes, additions and alterations, I find
the following deficiencies in accordance with the requisites of the
Town Fire and Building Code.
Door markings are required in several areas where confusion and
lack of direction via Exit signs and continuous identification of
proper direction to those exit doors is non-existent or lacking.
I. All new office corridors lack egress lighting and continu-
ous direction to Exit signs .
•
A. Many doors in the office areas and hallways should be
marked "No Exit", especially those that lead into plants ,
and call for travel of over 150 feet to exit to outside.
B. Doorways requiring lighted Exit signs from area to exits :
1 . Lunch room and at turn in lunch room hallway.
2. Marketing - two (2) doors .
3 . Glueing room and Thermo room.
4. Composition room - north door . Egress _ lighting - for
this area. Exit sign - east wall near door.
5 . D. Stewart office entry, "No Exit" sign.
6 . Remove "Exit" sign from entrance to old stock room.
7 . Binding room Exit sign southwest.
8 . Mark doors in plant foreman' s area "No Exit".
9 . Computer room double doors , "No Exit" signs, both sides .
10. Order writing 'room, Exit signs and egress lighting.

Extinguisher Installation
New and enlarged areas should be divided into a minimum of 6, 000
sq. ft. and proper extinguishers installed -. ABC general purposes ,
B&C carbon dioxide at major electrical sources . Halon in computer
room.
If old bailer room is to be used for more than 10 days , all breeches
in the walls shall be sealed with masonary fillers .

A complete review of your fire preventions procedures :
1. Audibility of new and old alarm bells.
2. Assignment of .area•_charge wardens.
3 . Define extent of fire fighting requisites of employees .
4. Directions for evacuation placed at intercom desk and all
major management areas.
A complete fire prevention program involving entire staff is avail-
able free of charge via my office at your convenience.
It is the feeling of my office that there is. no honor in fight-
ing a fire that could have been prevented through education
