The Town of Queensbury is instituting a new numbering system
for all permanent signage.
Enclosed is a number and new sign permit which replaces the
original permit and number which our files indicate was issued
to you Nov. 10, 1983.
As a permit and number is issued for each individual sign,
it is important to affix the enclosed self adhesive number to
the corresponding sign.
The number must be affixed to the sign face in the lower
right hand corner.
Please keep the "replacement permit" on file for future
reference.
Should you have any questions regarding your signage, please
contact the Queensbury Building and Codes Department.

Dear Mr.Klein:
I am writing to you with regards to the above referenced sign permit application.
I have reviewed your application and have performed research as to the historical record of the
sign in question. We can not find, in our records, any indication that the sign in question ever
receive a sign permit prior to installation. Likewise, no reference can be found to a Sign
Variance being issued for the sign as it does not meet the minimum 15 foot property line setback.
. As such, the Sign Permit application that you have submitted cannot be issued and a Sign
Variance will be necessary should you wish to construct the sign in the proposed location. I am
enclosing a Sign Variance application for your reference should you wish to pursue an approval
for the sign at the proposed location. Please note the established submittal deadlines for the
submission of the necessary applications so that further delays may be avoided.
Should you have any further questions, comments or additional information that might affect this
determination,please do not hesitate to contact this office and we will review your information.
