WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Town of Queensbury's Recreation
Commission and Director of Parks and Recreation (Director), the Town Board wishes to establish a
full-time Building Maintenance Mechanic (BMM)position in the Parks and Recreation Department,
and
WHEREAS,the Warren County Department of Personnel and Civil Service has reviewed the
proposed job duties for the position and has determined that the BMM is the most appropriate title for
the position as set forth in the New Position Duties Statement adopted by the Warren County
Department of Personnel and Civil Service,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby establishes the hourly, full-time
Building Maintenance Mechanic position in the Parks and Recreation Department as set forth in the
New Position Duties Statement adopted by the Warren County Department of Personnel and Civil
Service at the hourly rate of pay for the Building Maintenance Mechanic position delineated in the
Town's Agreement with the Civil Service Employees Association, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Director of Parks and Recreation and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and/or
documentation and take such other and further action necessary to establish the position and effectuate
this Resolution.
