To Whom It May Concern:
I have reviewed the Garage beam design for potential changes to eliminate the interior
columns,at the James Kalock Residence, 336 Glen Lake Road, Queensbury,New York.
The desire is to eliminate the front to back beam. This beam can be eliminated if the joist
are changed from 2 X 8 to 11-7/8"TR 560 joists placed 16"on center. The TJI joist will
clean span the nominal 22'-0 thus eliminating the requirement for any beam.
