Warren County, New York.
On April 26, 2010 I examined a deep soil test pit and performed
two soil perclation tests in the area of proposed septic system.
Listed below are my observations:
0 - 7 Inches, topsoil
7 -43 Inches, loam
43-55 Inches, loamy fine sand, mottling starts at 55 inches
55-74 Inches, fine sand
Soil perculation rate at 24 inches in both test pits is: nine
minutes, 30 seconds per inch.
Soils in the area of the proposed septic system are derived
from lucustrine loamy soils over sandy textured soils. Depth
to seasonal high ground water is noted by the depth to mottling
which is 55 inches from the surface.
