We have met with A.S. Havens Contracting (Andy Havens) to talk to him about
demolition and concrete construction work on the property located at 39A
Warren Street Hudson Falls, NY that we just purchased.
The stand alone two car garage and the one room addition built on the east
wall of the building need to be demolished.
In addition, the basement floor has heaved causing the eastern basement wall
to bow out. Andy Havens believes that the existing basement floor needs to be
removed so that whatever has caused the problem can be addressed. Once
that is done, he was confident that the eastern wall can be repaired. There is
no problem with the three other basement walls.
We need to file for the proper permits so that our contractor can begin the
demolition and concrete/basement work as described above.
