Dear Ray:
Haanen Engineering, LLP (HE) provided the design and construction documents for the MIDI
Discovery 16 Ride foundation at the Great Escape. During the course of construction, HE
visited the site to inspect the installation of reinforcing steel and verify pier dimensions. On this
date, HE inspected the final completed ride installation — the ride support columns were fully
supported on the concrete foundation piers. The foundations were constructed as per plans
and specifications and adequately supporting the ride columns.
