RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF SANDER/SPREADER
FOR USE BY TOWN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Highway Superintendent has requested Town Board
approval to purchase a 2015 Sander/Spreader for use by the Town Highway Department, and
WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent acquired five (5) quotes for such sander and has
recommended such purchase from Arrowhead Equipment, Inc., as it provided the lowest quote,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Town Highway
Superintendent's purchase of a 2015 Sander/Spreader in the total amount of$5,495 from Arrowhead
Equipment, Inc., to be paid for from Equipment Account No.: 004-5130-2040, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Town
Highway Superintendent, and/or Budget Officer to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
