PROVIDING RADIO READ METERS AND ACCESSORIES TO
TOWN WATER DEPARTMENT DURING 2015

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously authorized Badger Meter, Inc. to
provide radio read meters and accessories to the Town Water Department, and
WHEREAS, the Water Superintendent has recommended that the Town of Queensbury
continue to use the Badger meter system and has therefore requested Town Board authorization to
allow Badger Meter, Inc. to continue providing radio read meters and accessories to the Town Water
Department during 2015 for a total sum not to exceed $105,000,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes Badger Meter, Inc. to
continue providing the Town of Queensbury Water Department with radio read meters and accessories
during 2015 for a total sum not to exceed $105,000, to be paid for from Account No.: 40-8340-2300,
as previously approved in the 2015 budget, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Water
Superintendent, Town Budget Officer and/or Accountant to execute any documentation and take such
other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
