WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Director of Parks and Recreation has requested Town
Board authorization to hire Chris Bowman as a Temporary, Seasonal Laborer to work for the
Department on a seasonal basis, and
WHEREAS, Town Policy requires that familial relationships must be disclosed and that
the Town Board approve the appointment of Town employees' relatives and Chris Bowman is the
son of David Bowman, LMEO in the Parks and Recreation Department,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes, directs and ratifies the
hiring of Chris Bowman as a Temporary, Seasonal Laborer for the Department of Parks and
Recreation commencing on or about April 23rd, 2015, to be paid at the appropriate hourly wage
approved for seasonal recreation positions and subject to the Town successfully completing a pre-
employment physical and background checks as reasonably necessary to judge fitness for the
duties for which hired, and drug and/or alcohol screening, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Parks
and Recreation Director and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
