Project Description
Applicant proposes to install 225 sq. ft. of permeable pavers within 50 feet of the shoreline.
Staff Comments
Site plan overall: The applicant proposes to install 225 sq ft of permeable pavers that requires site plan review
for hard surfacing within 50 ft of the shoreline. The area of permeable pavers does not interrupt any plantings in
the area. Currently the area is used as a sitting area at the existing fire pit. The applicant has indicated the new
area will level out an area and allow for chairs to be placed in the area. The applicant also proposes to improve
248 sq ft area along the road side to a permeable surface as an offset or the pavers. The plans show the location
of the pavers and the existing site layout. The plans show the silt fence to installed at the shoreline area, the
paver detail to address stormwater and erosion control. The shoreline plantings are to remain and no additional
plantings area proposed.
The applicant has provided information for the items A-V where items such as traffic, building construction,
and lighting would be not associated with the proposed project.
Summary
The applicant has completed a site plan review application for the installation of a 225 sq ft permeable paver
area that occurs within 50 ft of the shoreline.
