ORGANIZATION TO BE USED TOWARDS MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL
DEVELOPMENT AT GURNEY LANE PARK

WHEREAS, the Warren County Safe and Quality Biking Organization has offered to donate
$5,000 to the Town of Queensbury Parks and Recreation Department to be used towards the mountain
bike trail development at the Gurney Lane Park, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board is honored by this generous offer, feels that such donation will
benefit Town residents, and therefore wishes to approve and authorize such donation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves and accepts the donation of
$5,000 from the Warren County Safe and Quality Biking Organization for the Town's Parks and
Recreation Department to be used towards the mountain bike trail development at the Gurney Lane
Park, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer to deposit
the donation and increase the Parks and Recreation Department's Capital Project Account No.: 157-
7110-2899 by $5,000 and the Gifts and Donations Revenue Account No.: 157-0000-52705 by
$5,000, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town's Director of Parks and
Recreation to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Warren County Safe and Quality Biking
Organization with a letter from the Town thanking the organization for its generosity.
