WHEREAS, Margrette E. McArthur has offered to donate $200 in memory of the Edwards
Family(Lydia, Robert and Roger)to the Town of Queensbury Cemetery Department to be used at the
discretion of the Cemetery Superintendent, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board is honored by this generous offer, feels that such donation will
benefit Town residents, and therefore wishes to approve and authorize such donation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves and accepts the donation of
$200 in memory of the Edwards Family (Lydia, Robert and Roger) to the Town of Queensbury
Cemetery Department to be used at the discretion of the Cemetery Superintendent, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer to deposit
the donation and increase the Cemetery Department's Account No.: 002-0000-52705 by$200, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town's Cemetery
Superintendent to send a certified copy of this Resolution to Ms. McArthur with a letter from the
Town thanking the organization for its generosity.
