We are not seeking to change anything that wasn't already there and had already been approved by the board...same dockssarne parking.Just shucking the docks over a little to get away from a big rock, and parking is in same area as before. B.The docks are old commercial clocks-the Yacht Club Is right there too and that's all boat rental slips-that's what the character of this bay is.This is our neighborhood and we would not do anything to hurt it. C.There are long time paths for easy access to the docks, and easy access to our house as well if they need to use the changing room or bathroom. Our renters are usually cruisers with bathrooms on them, and the LK Geo Boat CO PUMPS them out as needed. There is plenty of room for parking for all of the docks and then some-rarely do more than 3 or 4 vehicles show up at the same time. D.There will be 2 garbage toters at the parking areaPublic facilities are available at the house but the, boaters prefer using their, own. E,We are not doing anything to change the environment or natural features of the dock site. The landscape Is all natural trees etc.and the parking is a large mowed area used prior for the same purpose. F.The docks, are being put back Into use because of the high taxes on the parcel. They will be redone and look great which will make everyone happy. Most of the docks in this bay are rental docks also. There is no negative effect from this project. 1 Chapter 179. Zoning Article 10. Special Use Permits 179-10- 40.Application for special use permit A.(: ) A narrative descibing in detail the proposed d use and operation and how such proposed use furthers or is consistent with the policies of the Town's Comprehensive Plan. Response. We are proposing to rebuild 2 existing docks that have fallen in disrepair and shucking there over while maintaining setbacks to get array from a huge boulder in the lake. These decks were, for many years, commercial ducks that. Rag's mom,Elsa, rented to help pay her taxes.' hen Elsa passed, we decided to sell this parol but have had no luck in 7 years of being on the mark t,so we,are seeking to get the docks back on the market to keep our head above water, as the taxes on this 1 vacant parcel are 12k and our income has decreased with age. We are seeking a Class A Marina permit thru the Park Commision and have copies of their paperwork for you as well. They have no problem with our request, Our gather marina is 2 decks south of this location. T'hankyou; Ray & Wendy Draft These docks in question were permitted for commercial use and rented for many years., They have now fallen into disrepair and we seek to align them, shuck them over a little and build the H to the south rather than the north to accomodate current setback procedure and safety for the boaters regarding a formidable rock. We, will maintain setbacks and seek no enlargements or added slips. We have a financial hardship with the exhorbitant taxes on this piece of vacant land and the dock rentals will help. Thankyou.
