Mrs . Lemmo purchased sod for her gravesite. The cemetery crew
installed it and she is very satisfied with the results .
The new shrubs are planted in Quaker Cemetery and we are
maintaining the grounds . Loiselle Monuments has supplied us with
the materials to clean the plaques .
Betty has not yet gotten an answer on the flagpole but is still
working on it.
Rodney would like the Town to resolve the problems with the new
telephone system at Pine View. The bills have increased
considerably. Betty will address this issue at the next Town
workshop.
The blinds should arrive this month.
There were 46 cremations in May.
Wilton Funeral Home, a new account, owns Mevee Funeral Home in
Ballston Spa which will now be using our facility.
Regan & Denny made arrangements for a disinterment of a Mr. Davis
on Tuesday, May 28 . The cemetery crew manually dug the grave and
removed the military plaque. When Fort Miller did not arrive
Rodney called and was informed the order had been canceled the
previous Friday and Regan & Denny neglected to tell him. We did
receive a $250 check for the work.
A load of topsoil is expected from Paul Naylor as soon as it is
screened.
Rodney will be having an operation on June 24 and expects to be out
for a week.
Gail is retyping old death cards and Rod is nearly done redrawing
the old Uncas maps of Pine View.
Artificial flowers have been tagged, removed and stored in the
garage.
The Commission is working on amending the Rules & Regulations
relating to the use of lots in Pine View Cemetery.

Two summer workers will be hired at $8 .25 per hour. There are
presently three part-timers from Social Services.
Rodney offered Betty Monahan a copy of a simpler Annual Review Form
for consideration.
