06-07-1961 I..1 5 Regular Meeting May 3 , 1961, 4:30 P.M. All Commissioners and Supt. Scoville present. Secretary reported receipt of a letter from Surry Bromley of Bromley's Auto Sales relative to the use of a strip of Town owned land adjacent to his auto sales lot. Mr. Bromley has agreed not to use the land in question and has graded down the earth fill which he had placed there. He thanked the Commission and the Town Board for their courtesy in this matter. Secretary is to write a letter to the Town Board informingtthem of the above letter. Frank Scoville reported that the International truck which is being purchased is now completed and ready for delivery. Also that two new gasoline power mowers have been purchased as authorized. the gate has now been closed and water is in the pond for the summer. The newly developed area has had lime and fertilizer applied. RECEIPTS: Sale of lots $ 290.00 Openings 1$0.00 • 470.00 Secretary reported receipt of a letter from Attys . Honig and Honig regarding the Savage burial plot in Pine View Cemetery. Secretary is to write them giving the information that in as much as there has been a burial on this plot , we will not be able to purchase it from the owner. ' Meeting adjourned at 5:40 P.M. t Secytary. REGURLAR MEETING June 7, 1961, 4:45 P.M. All commissioners and Frank Scoville Present . Mr. Granville Beals requests permission to sub-divide his large burial plot to be given to his sons and daughter. Permission for this action is granted & Mr. Beals. will be so informed. Mr. Charles Denny requests permission to sell his lot $ 701, Sec . 27, Wah-ta-wah plot. Permission is granted. RECEIPTS: Sale of lots 585 .00 Openings 750.00 Foundations 50. 50 $1385. 50 Discussion took place regarding request of Kiwanus Club ( over) 116 to establish a picnic area on part of the Cemetery property. Motion duly made , seconded and carried that such permission be denied. It is the feeling of the Commission that suitable headwalls be installed on the new culvert at the entrance to the Pine View Cemetery, and the Secretary is to contach the County Supt. of Highways, making such request. Meeting adjourned at 5: 30 P.M. if i Sect ary. REGULAR MEETING July 12, 1961 , 4: 15 P.M. All Commissioners & Frank Scoville are present. Discussion on the planting of cedar trees in the new areas of the cemetery to help break the plainness of the area. Discussion on the condition of the roadways in Pineview Cemetery, and the neew for repairs and maintainance. Motion duly made , seconded and carried that we purchase oil and stone in the approximate amount of $302.00 to seal and preserve the roadways.
