Re:gas fireplace, Permit # Both-000111-2016
Sir,
My letter is a follow up to my site visit to your home last week. The nature of the visit was to complete an
inspection of a gas burning fireplace, previously installed. You indicated during our conversation,that the stove
may have been installed 10+years ago.
Upon examination of the unit, it appears to be a zero clearance fireplace with a direct vent exhaust.The data
plate for the unit is removed and cannot be found. I am not able to ascertain the make or model of the unit.
An observation indicates that the unit is side wall mounted,with a direct vent attachment, which exits directly out
the back wall.The vent clearances appear adequate and the wall fire stop is in place.The balance of inspection
cannot be performed without the dimensional data from the manufacturer.
