RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF $1,250 DONATION
FROM NORTHWAY CHRISTIAN FAMILY CHURCH

WHEREAS, the Northway Christian Family Church has offered to donate $1,250 to the Town
of Queensbury to support the efforts of the Town of Queensbury in meeting Town residents' needs,
and
WHEREAS, the Town Board is honored by this generous offer, feels that such donation will
benefit Town residents, and therefore wishes to approve and authorize such donation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board, in accordance with New York State Town
Law §64(8), hereby approves and accepts the $1,250 donation from the Northway Christian Family
Church, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer to deposit
the donation in such account she deems appropriate, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to send a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Northway Christian Family Church with a letter from the Town
thanking the Church for its generosity.
